I’m not running to climb a ladder. I’m running because our neighborhoods deserve representation that understands the work, the pressure, and the pride of Cleveland life.
I know what it means to build something from the ground up. I know what it means to stay rooted. And I know what it means when politicians forget who they’re supposed to be working for.

This Is Home.
Charlotte Perkins has lived in Cleveland her entire life.
Cleveland raised me. District 20 shaped me.
My husband grew up on Yale Avenue. His family home is still there. He graduated from Glenville High School. I attended Shaw High School and went on to graduate from Kent State University.
My church, St. Aloysius, is right here in the district!
For more than 25 years, I have owned R-CAP Securities, a small, successful business located on East 79th and Superior Avenue. Not downtown. Not somewhere else. Right here.
This district didn’t shape my values from afar. It shaped them every day. The same concerns. The same struggles. The same hopes for our families and our future. I’m in this with YOU, together.
The bottom line is:

Columbus Can Ignore Us.
Unless we send one of our own.
Republicans have a supermajority in Columbus. They don’t need us, so they ignore us.
I see this moment as an opportunity to change that by showing up, speaking up, and working for the people who sent me there.
